Mt. Galbraith Park
With the day running out, and the ominous cloud of going back to work the following day winking at me, I hopped in the car around a quarter of four and headed towards the hills. Thinking back on it, that bastard work cloud probably had it in mind to tempt me to drive off a mountain road. Fortunately I wasn’t paying that much attention to it. Not long after making the turn at Golden Gate Park Road I passed a small sign that said Mt. Galbraith Park. I saw the little parking lot and the small trail leading off it, but, like an idiot, I passed it and drove the entire 15 miles up to Golden Gate State Park. Once I got there I realized there would be no hiking or photography taking place in the cold rain that had settled over the park. So, I hopped back in the car and drove back down to the little trailhead I had seen on the way up. I’m very good at wasting time. And running up extraneous miles on the car.
But all was not lost. Once there I was gifted with a few treats.
Yeah. Kiss my ass work cloud.
